Introducing AMAH labs and our first design product “Ìhè lamps” by Daniel Obasi
Ìhè, meaning "light," draws inspiration from AMAH's experiences over the past year and the desire to explore new forms. It reflects the joy of communal gatherings, sunset moments, and the forging of new and old friendships at AMAH. The lamps serve as a medium, allowing AMAH's inherent joy and energy to extend beyond the studio.
Crafted from original metal recycled during the studio's construction and incorporating existing glass forms, Ìhè Lamps play with light and shadows. Each lamp holds significant memory while also fostering new dialogues and discoveries through light
Production of the small lamps takes about 3 weeks.
The large lamps take about 4 weeks to produce.
Delivery is free within Lagos
Delivery outside Lagos will attract an additional cost.
LAVA LAMP
Inspired by the movement and intensity of molten earth, the Lava Lamp radiates warmth and depth. Its beaded surface diffuses light into rich, layered shadows, creating an atmosphere that feels alive and constantly changing.

SUNSET LAMP
The Sunset Lamp draws inspiration from the fleeting moments between day and night, when colours soften and shadows lengthen. Its warm illumination creates a familiar sense of ease, filling a room with the quiet comfort of an evening sky.
Whether switched on or admired as an object, the piece carries the stillness and beauty of a setting sun.
GAIA LAMP
Named after the ancient embodiment of the Earth, the Gaia Lamp celebrates nature's ability to create beauty through time, growth, and transformation. The lamp's form and filtered glow evoke a sense of balance, inviting a softer connection to the spaces we inhabit.
Designed to bring warmth and calm, Gaia becomes a gentle presence within the home.
BLUE FLAME LAMP
Blue Flame explores contrast—the quiet strength of a flame at its hottest point. The lamp balances softness and energy, casting a focused glow that reveals intricate patterns through its beaded structure.
At once delicate and powerful, it serves as a reminder that transformation often begins beneath the surface.
